Why Solima Exists
I've been building software for over 18 years — across defense, healthcare, and finance. I've spent much of that time in startups, learning what it takes to build products that solve real problems for real people. But the work I'm doing on Solima is different. It comes from a place of purpose.
When I was at my absolute lowest point, I found recovery in the midst of chaos. That experience transformed my life — it gave me a new perspective on what matters and a deep respect for the people and organizations that help others rebuild their lives. Sober living operators are doing some of the most important work in the recovery space, filling the critical need for people moving toward fully independent living. Unfortunately, most of them are still doing it with spreadsheets, paper binders, and tools that weren't built for them.
That's why I built Solima. Not because the market needed another software app, but because operators deserve tools that actually fit the way they work — purpose-built, affordable, and designed by someone who understands.
The Mission
Solima is a product of Trust Recovery Apps, a company I started. At Trust Recovery Apps I am privileged to dedicate my time and skills toward building technology solutions for the recovery community. Our mission is simple: help recovery organizations make the largest possible impact helping people.
We're working alongside certification bodies, grant programs, and industry organizations to make sure Solima fits into the ecosystem operators already work in. When you succeed, lives are changed — our mission is to help.
